History of Preslar Art Initiatives
Preslar Art Initiatives began in February 2018 as the Preslar Gallery, in Columbia County, Oregon. During the 2018 season and early months of 2019, we held monthly art exhibits featuring a wide variety of emerging talents in fine art. In the spring of 2019, we have decided to switch gears and focus on finding other ways to support the development of emerging artists in the Pacific Northwest.
After a six-month hiatus, Preslar Art Initiatives found itself in the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis in Oregon, which has once again forced to shift our plans.
In June 2020, Preslar Art Initiatives is resuming its activities with our first virtual art exhibit. During the remainder of 2020, we hope to have a few virtual exhibits, as well as small-scale events in the late summer or autumn as situations permit.
